Vuokatinranta

You’ll find us at the shore of beautiful Nuas Lake and just a short walk to the slopes. Our variety of accommodation is suitable for you and your friends or family and can offer cosy facilities even to larger groups. Our restaurant prepares you tasty home-made meals. We also have meeting rooms and our saunas and recreation room with fire place enables a nice closure for the day.

In Vuokatti, in the middle of Kainuu region, between the skiing slopes and a beautiful Nuasjärvi lake lies Vuokatinranta accommodation and course center offering versatile services for both active and peaceful holiday goers. We offer camps, courses and weekend events for both single travellers and bigger groups.

In addition to the versatile accommodation options, Vuokatinranta offers facilities for hosting meetings and group work space, restaurant preparing tasty home-made meals and two saunas by the lake shore. In the evening, you can wind down in the peaceful warmth of the fireplace room.

The new hotel

Our new hotel has 12 double rooms and two apartments with kitchenette, living room, private sauna and separate bedroom. There is also one room for disabled persons. All rooms have a WC and a shower. The total capacity consists of 30 beds and 20 extra beds (bunk beds). In the hotel building there is a common TV room, a kitchenette and drying cabinets for drying skiing clothes in the wintertime.

Holiday apartments

We have in our variety also high standard holiday apartments: the larger ones for 8-12 persons and smaller for 6-8 persons, all equipped with cosy living rooms with fire place, TV and DVD’s, a kitchen with all needed kitchen utensils, bathroom with sauna, WC and shower. There is a loft and a balcony in every holiday apartment and a small yard area in front of the apartment.

Cottages

We have a variety of different types of cottages: cottages with private sauna or with a fire place, cottages nearby the lake or a detached house for a larger group or family. All cottages have a small kitchenette, TV, WC and shower.

Restaurant services

There is a restaurant (up to 100 persons) in the main building serving breakfast, lunch and dinner for our customers. Groups can take their packed lunch along in the morning (pre-ordered). You can admire the large and beautiful relief of the Finnish sculptor Eeva Ryynänen on the wall of the premises.

Other services

Vuokatinranta is busy all year round. There is a sauna building near the lake and attached a cosy room with fire place to spend the evening. The main building has a small souvenir shop and kiosk. We also have meeting facilities for business groups.
