Come and visit our small kennel of sleddogs between Sotkamo and Kuhmo. Our 15 working dogs and the 4 retired ones warmly welcome you on our yard to see and experience, how sleddogs enjoy summer.
We guide you around our kennel and freerun-area, you can join the daily routines like feeding, cleaning, socialising, walking some special-need-dogs or have fun with them on the waterline of Lake Herttua on warm days. Make sure to have suitable clothing with you, as you will collect some doghairs and probably mud-traces on you. During the day we invite you to a light lunch with sausage from open fire and a salad. While eating you can learn a lot about the training of dogs, how they learn the commands, how they love to run in wintertime and how we care about them during the whole year.
