The grooves shaped by small streams on the sides of the hills, the shapes of the underwater deeps or the rise of the smelt. My being a resident of Vuokatti is best shown in my photographs.”

Three tips for a family trip:
- The lookouts and platforms of Iso-Pölly are perhaps the best known scenery sites. By taking a look at the map you will easily find more sceneries and other interesting sights.
- The gulch on top of Pieni-Pölly is easy to reach, thanks to the UKK-trail and its branches that run through the hill range. The view over Sapsojärvi and Hiukka from the top of Keimanvaara is also worth seeing.
- The fireplaces and the hut near Pöllylammet are a good destination for a day trip with the children. The Eino Leino –trail that runs through the nature reserve takes you on a journey to days gone by. This trail is located only ca. 500 meters from the upper parking lot on the hill.
The climbing courses of Vuokatin Seikkailupuisto definitely offer challenges and fun for climbers of all ages and sizes. There is no need to worry about vertigo, you can climb on lower practice courses. There are own courses for children, where they can test their agility and courage. Climb into heights and feel that sensation in your stomach, when you are gliding down a cable like a superhero.
From the immediate vicinity of this adventure park an active family can find an excellent base, for the nearest holiday cabins of Kolazko are only 300 meters from the park. There is something for everyone in the wide selection of accommodations. For example, the newest holiday cabin, Timantti, which was completed in 2018, has an outdoors hot tub, as well as all other amenities.
The all-year-round snowpark at Vuokatinrinteet is made in co-operation with a market-leading company, Schneestern.
The summer activities of Vuokatti Safaris give you the opportunity to catch your breath and enjoy the experiences offered by Vuokatti’s nature.
