Vuokatti XC skiing track opens annually on 10.10. at 10:00. The track is at first covered with the snow stored throughout the summer. Natural snow comes in November-December, and the season continues until April.

In Vuokatti Ski Tunnel the conditions are perfectly suitable for skiing all year round, with the comfortable weather of 2-7 degrees below zero inside. The tracks of the world’s first Ski Tunnel and the outside trail network of 2,4 km provide excellent opportunities for XC skiing and training in all weathers.
Excellent snow conditions, vast network of trails and possibility to enjoy magnificent views make this place a paradise for skiers. The first track opens already in October and in mid-winter there is more than 150 km of well-groomed tracks. The local shops sell all the skiing equipment you might need.
